EXCEL INTERN: MARKETING AND OPERATIONS

Position Overview:

Looking for someone who wants to be involved in all aspects of Excel Basketball Academy and help Excel grow. The intern will be working closely with Coach Lance to assist him during live sessions and will maintain the schedule for each session.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assist Coach Lance in person during sessions 

• Update website using website builder platform (Wix)

• Send out emails to players for scheduling and communication updates

• Post on social media platforms to help grow following and engage with new players

• Communicate and arrange schedule with partners (Fieldhouse)

• Help Coach Lance build Ambassador program

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Organized and dependable

• Personable and willing to assist both kids and the parents of players in person and through email

• Social media marketing experience preferred

• Website builder experience preferred (Wix)

This will be an unpaid internship with the ability to turn into a paid position based on the results. The internship can also be eligible for school course credit.

Intern schedule will be flexible except for the live sessions and most of the position will be remote. All Covid precautions will be taken.
